Make the transition from Workgroup PDM to PDM Standard with ease!
The 2018 release will not include Workgroup PDM. This provides plenty of time for customers to decide on what PDM product will meet their needs. SOLIDWORKS PDM options have changed making the primary data management interfaces SOLIDWORKS PDM Standard & SOLIDWORKS PDM Professional.
SOLIDWORKS PDM Standard is a new data management solution for smaller work-group environments in one geographic location. Included with SOLIDWORKS Professional and Premium, SOLIDWORKS PDM Standard helps users easily and efficiently organize and manage their data. SOLIDWORKS PDM Standard can be easily upgraded to SOLIDWORKS PDM Professional if and when needs change.
Benefits include a low cost of entry, low learning curve and the ability to quickly streamline you design process through Workflow automation and an easy upgrade path to PDM Professional. Integrations with SOLIDWORKS and DraftSight provides your organization with a highly productive data manage system to let users focus on design.
